Our History
Lissi was founded in October 2023 as a spin-off from Commerzbank AG and its former innovation unit, neosfer. What started as an internal initiative in digital identity became an independent company built to give organizations real control over how they interact with EUDI Wallets.Our team has worked on digital identity infrastructure since 2019, including leading IDunion — a research project on decentralized identity funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. We've spent the years since building the infrastructure for a more trusted, standards-based digital Europe.

Innovation leadership
The Lissi ID-Wallet was the first to implement the OpenID4VC standards, a protocol set to be used by every European Digital Identity Wallet. By sharing our implementation feedback, we help organizations like the OpenID Foundation
